The Salyers Percussion marching bass drum mallets are turned from white hickory for maximum strength and durability.  The extra hard felt heads are shaped to provide even tone throughout the range of bass drum sizes.  Bass drum mallets also come in soft puffy covered mallets for a softer attack.

The tapered hickory shafts provide slightly more counter weight than other models.  This improved balance makes the Salyers Percussion mallets feel better to play.
