 Ryan Jobe

Ryan Jobe is a percussionist and music educator from Corinth, Mississippi. Ryan earned his Associates degree in Music from Northeast Mississippi Community College in Booneville, Mississippi, and his Bachelors of Music Education degree from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi.

Since 2010 Ryan has taught, composed, and arranged for many camps, clinics, and schools all across Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Ryan has performed and taught at all levels including WGI Scholastic Winds, and DCI Open Class Championships. Ryan was a performing member of the 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps in 2013-14, and was an instructor for Southwind Drum and Bugle Corps in 2017-18.

Ryan is currently the Graduate Teaching Assistant for the World Music Performance Center at West Virginia University pursuing a Masters in Musicology. At WVU Ryan assists with the World Percussion Ensembles, Directs the Beginning Steel Drum Band, and instructs the World Percussion Methods course for undergraduate music majors. Ryan is also a snare drummer for the official drumline of the Pittsburgh Steelers “Steeline.”

Ryan has been a proud artist and endorser for Salyers Percussion since January 2017.
